Great skin health starts with skincare.
Facial peels,
neurotoxin injections and
dermal fillers can help fight aging, but to achieve optimal results, your basic principles of skin health need to be addressed at home. There are so many different wonderful products out there, and it can be overwhelming to find the best products for you. People are more likely to stick with a skincare routine that is simple and makes sense, and I can help you find this balance.
I usually recommend four basic steps to your routine, but I’ve included an optional fifth step to address common areas of concern.
Here are my essential steps with some products from
ZO® Skin Health (available for purchase at Visage Facial Plastic Surgery):
1. Cleanse away surface oil and makeup (Gentle Cleanser - AM/PM daily)
2. Exfoliate the surface of your skin to slough away dead skin cells (Exfoliating Polish - AM or PM 2-3x/week)
3. Tone and remove skin’s surface oil to allow better penetration of products (Complexion Renewal Pads - AM/PM daily)
4. Hydrate & defend with antioxidant complexes (Vitamin A + E) to protect against skin aging (Daily Power Defense - AM/PM daily)
5.
If you are looking to address fine lines and wrinkles, Retinol Skin Brightener or Wrinkle and Texture Repair are a great addition to your routine. Brightalive, 10% Vitamin C Self-Activating or Pigment Control Crèmes with hydroquinone can also be added to address hyperpigmentation.
I am available for both telephone and in-person consultations to discuss skin care, facial peels or injectables. If you are interested in discussing skincare or facial peels, please make sure to fill out our
Skin Survey prior to your consultation.
