Facial Peels

All procedures below were performed by Dr. Anand D. Patel. Results vary by individual.

Case 1

Deep wrinkles in the skin that do not go away when the skin is stretched result from a combination of lifelong sun damage and repetitive facial movements. In these cases, a skin resurfacing treatment is most effective because it removes the top layer of skin and allows new baby skin to grow in its place.

Case 2

Around the eyes, a diluted version of the deep chemical peel is used to rejuvenate the skin. Notice the softening and smoothing of the skin.

Case 3

Around the mouth and lips, a stronger chemical peel is used to removed deep creases that will not improve with any face lifting procedure. Often times the chemical peel is done at the same time as a facelift to allow overlap in recovery.

Case 4

A modified phenol peel is less harsh than the stronger phenol peels used in the past and allows a custom treatment for various areas of the face and a faster recovery.

  • Case 5

Patients with very deep wrinkles will require a deeper peel, but will often obtain a more significant result.
