Ask An Expert: Would I Be A Candidate For A Brow Lift And Eyelid Surgery?

Anand Patel • Mar 31, 2021

Question: "I have been using injectables and fillers for the last 10 years and feel it has come to its end of being useful as my skin has got used to it. I have also noticed my eyebrows dropping (currently freshly injected so they look a bit higher) but my eyelid is growing heavy and droopy now no matter what and my forehead can't take any more filler and without filler it is concave! Would I be a candidate for brow lift and/or eyelid surgery? I want to stop using injectables and filler in my forehead."

Answer: "There does come a point when injectables and filler loses some of its effectiveness due to increasing volume loss and tissue laxity. I think the best treatment for you would be an upper blepharoplasty. This has the double benefit of not only reducing upper eyelid hooding, but also relaxing forehead muscles."
